Arena Resources, Inc. Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Oklahoma
Tulsa, Oklahoma — June 19, 2002 — Arena Resources, Inc. (OTCBB: ARRI) ("Arena") Wednesday announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire an approximate 90 percent working interest of a mineral lease located in Texas County, Okla.

The lease consists of 1,430 acres with existing oil and gas production as well as upside potential through enhancements of existing wells and additional offset drilling.

Definitive documents are scheduled to be executed by June 26, 2002 with an effective closing date of July 1, 2002.
