Arena Resources, Inc. Announces Registered Direct Common Stock Offering
of Up to 2,050,000 Shares
Tulsa, Oklahoma — June 15, 2007 — Arena Resources, Inc. (AMEX: ARD) ("Arena" or the "Company") today announced that it has entered into definitive agreements with selected institutional investors to sell up to 2,050,000 shares of its common stock through a registered direct offering for $49.00 per share.  Dahlman Rose & Company, LLC acted as lead, book running placement agent for the offering with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Capital One Southcoast, Inc., C.K. Cooper & Company and Pritchard Capital Partners, LLC acting as co-placement agents.

The shares are being offered pursuant to the Company's effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.  The shares of common stock may only be offered by means of a prospectus.  The closing of the offering is expected to take place on June 20, 2007, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
